Shipping:
All shipments within the US are sent by UPS ground and are insured up to $100.00 automatically. You may purchase additional insurance for purchases over $100.00. Free shipping is offered for purchases over $100.00 within the continental United States.
International shipments are sent through the US Postal Service. Choices available are Express Mail International or Priority Mail International.
We strive to ship your purchases the next business day after receiving cleared payment; however, due to time constraints, holiday shipping schedules, etc., shipment may be delayed for 3 to 5 business days on occasion.
Insurance
Insurance up to $100.00 is included for shipments within the US. Additional insurance is optional, but highly recommended. If you pay for insurance and should damage occur and a claim must be filed, it is your responsibility to do so with the carrier, but we will be happy to guide and assist you in filing the claim. Painted Ponies Fine Art is not responsible for damage caused by the Postal Service during shipping.
Payment
I accept VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, and Discover through Pro-Pay and its secure internet gateway. I also accept PayPal. Each of these online payment methods is secure; Painted Ponies Fine Art does not store your credit card information and we never see the card number as all processing is done through PayPal or ProPay. We do not rent, sell, or give out your private information to any other party.
We will also accept US Postal Service money orders or cashier's checks for purchases within the United States. We will do our best to ship your item the next business day after payment is received. You will receive and e-mail when your purchase is shipped.
If you are paying with a money order, the money order must be received within seven business days of your purchase.
International purchases require payment by PayPal or credit card.
Return/Refund Policy
Returns will be accepted and refunds (in either money back or merchandise credit - it is your choice) will be issued ONLY if the pony or item has been grossly misrepresented (i. e. wrong number, wrong edition, pony not in original box if not stated in the listing). You must contact us within four days of shipment date if you have any concerns. Pony must be returned within 3 days of return approval, in original condition, with box, tag, and styrofoam if it was originally sent that way. Shipping charges are not refundable.
A note about the condition of ponies and boxes
If there is any obvious damage such as breaks, chips, or cracks in the pony itself prior to shipment, they will be disclosed in the item description. Due to the fact that each pony is handpainted, individual ponies may have underpaints or underpaints due to the manufacturing process; we do not consider these "damage" but part of what makes each pony uniquely collectable and do not accept returns on these one of a kind collectible ponies for that reason.
Most Painted Pony boxes have some shelf wear, particularly if it is an older pony. Some collectors are not careful with hangtags and some may have a slight crease or bend in them. Even some new ponies received from the manufacturer may have slight box damage or a creased tag; this is the way we receive them from the manufacturer and has no bearing on the value of the pony. Please bear in mind that you are buying the pony, not its box or packaging.
