Painted Ponies Sequintial: A Sequine
Retired
1E/3437
Sequintial: A Sequine is part of the second herd of Painted Ponies released in June, 2003. It was retired in September, 2004, after only having completed production of its first edition and 800 ponies of its second editions. It is a very rare pony.
This pony comes in its original box (please see note below about condition of box), with hangtag, and styrofoam. It carries a low 1E production number of 3437.
The tag reads "Nancy Fleming, who has a Fine Arts Degree from the Kansas City Art Institute, is known as a collage artist who artfully incorporates found objects into her artwork, usually in some sort of repeating pattern. "I can’t throw out junk mail without first removing the canceled stamps," she says, by way of explaining how she came to cover her horse with 77,000 iridescent and multi-colored sequins." A note about the condition of the box: The box has some shelf wear. Also, there are white paint flecks on the top flap of the box and someone has written the name of the figurine in black marker on the top flap of the box. Additional photos are available upon request. The condition of the box does not affect the value of the pony in any way; you are purchasing the pony, not its packaging.
This pony is being stored in its box in a smoke-free environment.
Insurance is optional, but recommended.
Ponies are sold as is; if you have any questions, please contact us using the link at the top of the page.
